When we live in God, our love grows more perfect every day. We’re able to love those who persecute us. We’re able to forgive those who have wronged us. It’s impossible to accomplish this lifestyle without God. Not goal. Not task. Lifestyle. And because of this lifestyle, we will not be afraid on the day of judgment when we face the Lord with confidence knowing we have lived like Jesus in this world.

I know what you’re thinking: “Jesus was perfect! It’s impossible to live like Jesus.” You’re right. Jesus is perfect, but you’re perfect in God. Remember, the scripture says, “As we live in God.” This means you don’t lean to your own understanding. This means you don’t give into the desires of sin. It means as you continue to grow in God’s love, you become more like Christ daily. Loving others. Blessing others. Compassionate towards others. Sacrificing for others. Forgiving others. Nope! It’s not impossible to live like Jesus once you’ve decided to live in God.
