“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.”
Whatever God is asking you to do, He isn’t asking you to do it on your own strength. He has equipped you to do what is pleasing to Him. You may think you don’t have time to study your bible or you’re too tired to wake up Sunday to watch worship service on YouTube of Facebook. You may think you can’t forgive that person that did you wrong or took advantage of you or called you out of your name, but I want to tell you that you can… Because God is working in you.

Think about it. God of the universe. The God with all power. He’s working in you and you’re telling me you can do what pleases Him? Impossible! If God is giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him, you must be telling God, “No, I’m not going to do it.” And when you say this, you’re really working against yourself. Let God bless you. That’s all He’s trying to do. Whatever Jesus is asking you to do won’t hurt you. Just trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Use the desire and power He’s given you and do what pleases God.
