“You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail.”
Some people will try to pull you in different directions while some may outright tell you what to do. And while it is nice to help others out by serving as a resource or be a blessing to them, be sure the plans that others make for you align with the purpose God has for your life.

Let me share something with you that’s going to set you free: It’s OK to tell people no. It’s not wrong. It’s not a sin. What IS wrong is to allow others to make plans for you that take you away from what God has for you. You can’t always support every good idea. You can’t always be available. And it’s OK to say no. The plan God has for you is your priority. Execute that plan first and allow God to make room for the rest.
