God's Plan. Your Path.

He spoke plainly about this, and Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. But when Jesus turned and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter. ‘Get behind me, Satan!’ He said. ‘You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.’
— MARK 8:32 – 33 (NIV)

In today’s scripture, Jesus shares with His disciples God’s plan for His life. He told them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and that He must be killed and after three days rise again. Peter did not approve of God’s plan for Jesus and voiced this opinion, but Jesus rebuked Peter’s comments because He was sure of God’s plan for His life. To fulfill God’s plan, Jesus was willing to walk alone knowing His reward was in following the path God planned for Him.

Gods Plan Your Path.jpg

The path God has for you may not be understood by your family or friends. To fulfill God’s plan, you may have to walk alone or let some people go. Some people will turn against you and walk away without reason. This has nothing to do with you. God will remove some people because they cannot go on the path Christ has for you. They will only hinder you at your next “God level” because they have already served their purpose in your life. Let them go and keep following God’s plan. Greater is coming for you! New doors are opening ahead. Don’t look back.
