God wants us to love one another. He doesn’t want us to just love the people that love us back – like family or friends. God wants us to love everyone. Once again, Jesus provided the perfect example when He died for the sins of the world. Christ not only died for those of us who love Him, but He died for those who did not love Him, did not know Him and those who did not acknowledge Him as Lord. And we have this same ability, because we have a love that comes from God.

When you love people with the love that comes from God, you submit to His power, will and understanding. When the world influences you to hate others or be jealous of someone else, your spirit automatically rejects those sentiments because it’s full of God’s love. You don’t have to hate people who don’t look, act or talk like you. You don’t have to be jealous of another person’s blessings. You’re born of God and you know just as He blesses others, He will bless you too. Let’s learn to celebrate people. Let’s learn to appreciate others, and most importantly, let’s learn to love one another with the love that comes from God.
