Leave Room for God

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is Mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.
— ROMANS 12:19 (NIV)

(Sorry for the delay.)

Today, I am learning. I know God is my strength and my refuge. I know that God will never leave or forsake me. I know that God will fight my battles. I know that God will work out everything for my good. I know that. But today, I am learning that God will. Today, I am witnessing that Jesus will. And I know that my biggest show of my belief that He will is to not listen to Satan and how the world would have me react to my current situation, but to leave room for God.

What was done to me and my loved ones is done. It’s out of our hands. There’s nothing I can do to reverse the pain, hurt, broken hearts or disruption. But I know a GOD. I know a God who can do more than I could ever think. I know a God that does not approve of wickedness done to His children. So, do not be afraid of what people do to you. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “it is Mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. Find your strength, comfort and peace knowing that God’s got this, is bigger than you, your problem and your enemy, and has never lost control.

Heavenly Father, I will not take revenge, but leave room for Your wrath. I leave all my battles for You to fight for me, Lord. You will avenge on my behalf. You will repay. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
