Gotta Go? Gotta Go!

He left Judea and departed again to Galilee. But He needed to go through Samaria.
— JOHN 4:3 – 4 (NKJV)

In the Gospel written by John, Jesus traveled to Galilee from Judea. He told His disciples He needed to go through Samaria. Geographically, this made sense. Samaria was between the two, but most Jews took the longer route. Why? Because Jews didn’t want to travel through Samaria. They hated Samaritans. Didn’t want anything to do with them. But Jesus had purpose going through Samaria. He met the woman at the well, she became His witness, and many became saved that day. He went through Samaria.

What’s your Samaria today? You’re going to have to go through something you may not want to. You’re going to have to encounter people who don’t like you. You’re going to have to deal with situations that are uncomfortable. You may not know why you need to go through your Samaria or even understand, but if God says you gotta go, you gotta go. There’s a breakthrough in your Samaria. God’s promise for you is in your Samaria. But to get what Jesus has for you, you gotta go through your Samaria. And the great thing about going through your Samaria is you never have to go alone. Jesus is right there, going through your Samaria with you.
