Why does it always seem like you keep running into the one person on this earth you can’t stand? Why do you find yourself ready to go at 8AM, but can’t leave on time because other people don’t know how to prioritize their time? And speaking of people, you only have one last good nerve left, and these people manage to wait until the day is almost over to find a way to get on it! Why, Lord, why? The answer is He’s trying to direct your heart towards the two things you need: love and patience.

Yep! You need both my friend. You know how to love. You may have patience on a good day. But it’s only with God you will be able to utilize both every day. And the only way you will be successful is by allowing the Holy Spirit to direct your heart into the love of God and into the patience of Christ. Don’t give up or think it too hard if you miss the mark. Trust me. Jesus will give you more opportunities to get it right. Start with remembering how much God loves you and how much patience He has for you. Remember? Great! Now, give that same love and patience to others.
