Ask God

Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.
— JEREMIAH 33:3 (NLT)

Our God is awesome! He gives us mercy when we don’t deserve it. He blots out our sin for His own sake. He gives us grace when we least expect it. Most of all, He gave us His only Son, Jesus, to die for our sin. Another thing He wants to give us is His knowledge and wisdom. God tells us in James 1:5 that if we lack wisdom to ask and He’d give it liberally. He knows the lack of this wisdom and knowledge will ultimately lead to our destruction, so out of His love for us, He gives it freely. So, why are we still being destroyed?

Scripture says to ask God and He will tell us remarkable secrets we do not know about things to come. So, why is it that when we pray, we usually end up telling God what we know instead of allowing Him to tell us what we don’t know? We don’t know what to do about COVID-19. Ask God. We don’t know what to do about the state of our country. Ask God. We don’t know how we’re going survive financial, mend this broken heart, deal with the loss of a loved one. Ask God. Life is an open book test. The answers to life’s questions are accessible to us through Christ. And through God’s word, we know if we ever have a question, all we have to do is raise our hand, and ask God.

He holds every answer

Heavenly Father, thank You for answering me when I call You. I know that not only do You have the answer to my problems and situations, but You are the answer. I will seek You always. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
