You Always Have Help

I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
— PSALM 121:1 – 2 (NKJV)

Our daughter is a senior in high, dual enrolled at our local community college. Last night she was stressing because she has a report due in class, she has a presentation she has to prepare for college and a special event in the honors choir that she has to wear a formal dress to school on a day I have to report to work early, which means her and her brother would have to walk to school. She was stressed. I explained to her she was stressed because she believed she had to do everything on her own. I helped her with her presentation and my wife helped her with her report and gave her a ride in the morning.

Today, my friend, you don’t have to stress over what’s going on in your life. You always have help. If you find yourself stressing, it’s because you think you have to do everything yourself. You don’t have to. Lift your eyes, above your issues, and to the hills which comes your help. Your help comes from a powerful God that made heaven and earth. Surely He can help you. When someone offers to help you, God sent them. If someone needs your help, that’s God trying to bless you through ministering to others. In your time of trouble, you have a God that’s waiting to help you. Let Him.

Keep ya head up
