Me and my son share the same name. We also share the same nickname. You would think that would cause some confusion living in the same household, but oddly enough, it doesn’t. My wife can call to one of us from a different room and based on her voice, we know which one she’s calling to. Likewise, I’ve seen kids come into crowded rooms filled with numerous parents, call out for their individual mom and the mother would answer without skipping a beat. It’s something unique about hearing a voice you’re familiar with and how it’s able to stand out from the crowd.

Can you hear God calling you today? Can you identify His voice out of a crowd? Over the distractions? Over the entertainment? Maybe it’s coming from someone or something you hadn’t expected. He’s always calling you and it’s to show you great and mighty things you did not know. He has divine direction for you. He has bountiful blessings waiting to pour into your life. All you have to do is hear His voice when He calls you and respond, “Here I am.” Through obedience, listen and offer yourself to Christ and allow Him to change your life forever.
