“Then Peter began to say to Him, ‘See, we have left all and followed You.’ So, Jesus answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.’”
Let’s start today’s devotional with a visual aid. Grab a piece of paper. Now, take that piece of paper and fold it in half. Take the same piece and fold it in half again. That’s two folds, correct? OK, now fold it in half again. (Three) Fold it in half again. (Four) Pending the size of paper you used, it’s probably getting difficult to fold and you’re only at fold number five. Now, think of the awesome God you serve who has promised to bless you one hundredfold in this time!

Prepare yourself to receive the blessing Christ has for you! You may have thought it was the devil that stole your blessing. No, it wasn’t. (My Live Life subscribers don’t give Satan credit for anything.) Whatever it is you think you’ve lost for following Jesus, the devil had nothing to do with it. The devil didn’t steal it, kill it or destroy it – even though he tried it. I declare God took it to replace it with something much better. Jesus has the power to make everything brand new in your life. You only need to follow Him, believe it and then receive it. Take that same piece of paper you had before, open it and write the blessing you need at the center, and say, “Fold it for me, Jesus!” Don’t open it yet. Fold it again and say, “Fold it for me, Jesus!” Fold that thing until you can’t fold it anymore and allow Jesus to fold it the rest of the way for you.
