If you don’t know who you are, people will tell you who you are. You will live a lifetime wandering around trying to fit in and live up to the expectations of others. If you do this, you’ll learn quickly how disappointment will fill your life as well as the lives of those around you. If you don’t know who you are, you will lack definition, vision and understanding when it comes to the purpose God has predestined for you. But it all starts with getting to know the you God created you to be.

You no longer have to walk in the darkness of living up to others. You can walk in the light Christ has defined you by. From time to time, people in your life will try to tell you who you are or what you aren’t. They will tell you what you can’t do or what you should do, but you have remember the you Jesus created you to be. You are not a reflection of the world or the thoughts others have of you. You were created in the image of God.
