There’s an old saying that, “Nice guys finish last.” In the movies and daytime soap operas, the good guy always takes a beating, is betrayed and doesn’t always have the finer things in life. The bad guy seems to always have the upper hand, the shiny new villain toys and dresses great. Well, if you stick around to the end of the movie… the good guy always wins in the end.

Your road to your happy ending my seem difficult and far away, but hang in there. Your day in the sun is coming! Don’t be concerned with what the bad guys have or think they’re getting away with. That’s not your blessing and their worldly possessions are temporary. God sees the way you live your life. He sees the nice things you do daily and He won’t allow you to finish last. God is not unjust. He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and as you continue to help them. Continue to do nice deeds and work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than man. Keep doing what you do for God.
