“Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.”
If you have ever had any doubt if God hears your prayer, you don’t have to wonder any longer. Today’s scripture should remove any doubt in your spirit. When you call on God and go to Him in prayer, He will listen to you. That’s His promise to you. He will always listen to you when you call and pray. So why do the things you face encourage you otherwise? You’re still stuck in a job you hate, you’re still stressed by people hating on you and it seems like every time you take two steps forward, you get pushed back three.

Well, based on today’s scripture, we know God is listening, so it’s gotta be something else. I suggest that God is listening to your prayer, but He can’t bless you the way He wants because you haven’t forgiven that person that’s hating on you. Maybe He can’t promote you to your dream job until you appreciate the one He’s given you. Maybe, just maybe, God allowed you to be pushed three steps back because the path you were on wasn’t the right path for you to be on. You can always count on God to do what He said He would do, but are you doing what you need to do for God to do what He said He would do?
