You CAN Handle The Truth

Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
— MATTHEW 7:15 (NIV)

“If it sounds too good to be true, it’s probably not.” People will say all sorts of things to have an advantage over you. They will prey on your weaknesses. They will exploit your desire to have more and have it without doing the work to gain it. They will fill your heart with all the splendor your wildest dreams are made of… especially if your heart needs filling.

When you fill your heart and spirit with God’s word, you will know when someone is presenting you with the truth. In short, if you can’t find it in your bible, you shouldn’t want to find it in your life. Knowing God’s word for yourself will increase your ability to handle the truth as well as the lies that come your way. Your spirit will be able to inform you of who to listen to, inform you of good and bad decision-making and keep you on the path Christ has designed for you. So, instead of looking for truth on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, spend more time with your face in His book. Then you will know the truth and the truth will make you free.
