The world has a saying, “Nice guys finish last.” The world would have you believe you can't be a nice person to be successful and to win - and a lot of the time people believe that you have to be ruthless or selfish or inconsiderate in order to be successful and to win. On the contrary, Jesus taught the first shall be last and the last will be first and the meek will inherit the earth. Hmm… So do we side with the world or the One who created it?

The world and its way of doing things will pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. And as believers, it’s so important that we live out and spread Jesus’ agenda without censorship. We can talk about opening marijuana shops, we can talk about same sex marriage, we can talk about separating church from state, but we can’t talk about the goodness of God? Why not? Only because we’ve allowed it. Only because we’ve conformed. Only because we’re afraid of offending others who don’t believe what we believe who are free to talk and promote what we don’t believe. Take back what the devil has stolen. Use Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to show what a life with Christ looks like. Show the world it’s OK to pray, study scripture and attend church. Let’s show nice guys don’t finish last.
