Sometimes we all could use a little reminder of who’s really in control. In the face of adversity, it’s easy to turn full attention to the problems in front of us rather than the God inside us. With strikes, lay offs and job losses in an already questionable economy, we look outward for answers in still of upward. We suffer from anxiety, depression and hopelessness when there’s a chance the comfortable lifestyles we’ve become accustomed to is threatened. But we have to remember that during these tests in life, we are not alone.

If you’re not going through a test at the moment, your test is coming, but you don’t have to be afraid. You can fast any test. The Lord is your light and your salvation. You have absolutely nothing to fear. The Lord is the stronghold of your life. You have nothing to be afraid of. Companies can go on strike for days, but you have a God that’s given you eternal life. Your comfortable lifestyle may change, but the comfort of the Holy Spirit will remain the same. Whatever your plight today, you are not facing it alone and you have nothing to fear. The Lord is with you and in Him there is no failure.
