“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
God created you unique. Don’t think there’s anything wrong with you because you don’t think the same way others do or you don’t fit in or share the same opinion as others. Some people may not get you and that’s OK! Some people may insult you or call you out your name because you are different. Just remember what God called you… His!

Because you have decided to follow Christ, there are things you do and don’t do in life that people of the world will judge you for. They will try to make life hard for you and may even say all kinds of evil against you. And I’m sorry to alert you, but these people can also be family members, people you work with or worship with. In any case, you don’t have time for their shenanigans! You have too much life to live and too much work to do for Christ. Plus, you’re in good company because the same way they’re treating you is the same way they treated the prophets and God blessed them indeed. Keep praying. Keep studying. Keep serving God by doing the right thing instead of the right-now thing.
