In Word and Meditation

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.
— PSALM 19:14 (NKJV)

You have complete control over how your day goes. Notice I didn’t say you have control over what happens in your day, because you have zero control over that. What you do have complete control over is how you react to what happens during your day. How you react to and in situations takes practice, obedience and self-control. And today, my friend, I want you to know you are capable of mastering all of the above.

Your choice in the words you use and what you find yourself meditating on daily will heavily influence how much control you have over the kind of day you will have. When the words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart is acceptable in God’s sight, you choose to have a great day. You don’t focus on how much work you have to do, but your focus is how God blessed you with the strength to handle the load. Your concentration isn’t on the layoff, but on what God has next for you. When you seek God’s acceptance in word and meditation everything always works out for your good because you’re in control utilizing the dominion that Christ ordained for you from the beginning. What kinda day will you have today?
