How’s does it feel to know you don’t have to fight every battle? What? All this time and you didn’t know? You mean to tell me, that you didn’t know, you don’t have to retaliate every time someone rubs you the wrong way? You didn’t know that you don’t have to participate in every argument or respond to every rumor, shade thrown your way, or ill thing said or done to you? Well… you don’t.

Every fight isn’t your fight. You don’t have to defend yourself against every matter. Trust that the GOD you serve will deliver you from your enemy. When they go low, you go high, but you can only go high if that’s where your prayer life and mindset are. Instead of wasting energy addressing things you cannot control (i.e. what people say, what people do, what people think, etc.), invest your time in getting closer to Christ, improving yourself, and the lives of those around you. Your time is precious. Don’t waste it fighting winless battles. Besides, GOD can fight better than you.
