“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
GOD will never put more on you than you can bear. He loves you. He knows what it’s going to take in life to shape you and mold you into the wonderful person He created you to be. And when times get rough, He wants you to surrender to Him. When your world becomes overwhelming and you feel lost in the shuffle, He wants you to surrender to Him. When your world feels empty and barren and you feel alone, He wants you to surrender to Him.

Surrendering to GOD is not a show of weakness. You’re not saying, “I give up, GOD!” Instead, you’re saying, “I give it away to You, Lord.” When you acknowledge GOD and the need for His grace and mercy, it is then He will exchange your weariness and burdens for rest. He may not remove the thorn from your side, but He will give you the endurance you need to overcome your situation. He will give you the peace you need in the middle of your storm. He will restore you and increase you beyond the former state in which you came to Him. Whatever your situation, don’t give up. Give it away by coming to GOD and He will give you rest.
