“Then Jesus spoke to the demon within the man and said, ‘Come out, you evil spirit.’”
My mother named her three sons with names that start with the letter “D.” That’s cute and all until she needed one of us in another room and mixed our names up. As kids, when my mother made the mistake of calling one of us the other’s name, we wouldn’t respond. Nobody moved! She’d say, “Boy, didn’t you hear me call you!?” in which one of us would respond, “You didn’t call my name.”

Unfortunately, you have evil spirits all around you and at times, they latch on to you and cause you to experience trouble in life. You have the power to speak evil spirits out of your life, but sometimes they will not respond until you call it by its name. Whatever adversities you’re experiencing in life, call it what it is, and tell it it’s gotta go – in the name of Jesus! Call out the demon of lack! Call out the demon of confusion! Call out the demon of division in your relationships! Call out the demon of procrastination! Tell these spirits they don’t have to go home, but they have to get the hell (they’re creating) out of your life! Call it what it is, and command it out of your life, in the name of Jesus.
