It doesn’t matter what Donald Trump says. It doesn’t matter what Hillary Clinton says. Jeff Sessions, Sean Hannity, or your local public official. They may say some nasty things. They may conduct some wicked acts. But at the end of the day, we know that there is only one Lord and He is king over the whole earth!

Even if you’re not directly affected by those mentioned above, it still holds true for you. Through your tough dealings, rough times and moments of inadequacy, remember who is Lord over your life. Remember who you answer to. Let that rule your conduct and not the actions of others. In the face of wickedness and hate, you must remain in love. Through your humbleness and prayer our land will be healed from the treachery it is facing. Darkness can only be driven out by light and your Lord, who is king over the whole earth, has called you to be that light.

Heavenly Father, You are king over the whole earth. There is only one Lord and His name is Jesus. Thank You for calling me to be the light to drive out the darkness in this world. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
