In Need of Direction

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
— PROVERBS 3:5,6 (NIV)

A co-worker has an interesting sign I walk past every day. It says, “I can’t adult today.” Being an adult can be hard at times. You have to make many life decisions. “What can I do to make more money?” “Should I continue to be in this relationship?” Even the small decisions can weigh on you! “What should I wear today?” “Where should I go for lunch?” As an adult, you’re going to have understand, you won’t always have the answer and have to trust GOD for direction.

GOD has already laid a path out for your entire life. He has the answer for each decision you have to make. He knows how you should consider each opportunity presented to you. Before you encounter complex decisions or new opportunities, make sure your trust is already in the Lord. This way, whatever direction you take or decision you make will be based on your submission to Him and not your own understanding. Being an adult isn’t always easy, but it’s always a blessing when you’re on GOD’s path.
