Some things we depend on for joy and happiness tend to lose their ability to do so. Running on trails, becoming one with nature, used to bring you joy until your knee started forecasting the weather for you through arthritis. Fast foods and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos always made you happy after class until those extra pounds you picked up as a freshman continued well after your junior year. As we continue to live life it becomes more and more clear that only GOD is able to consistently give us the happiness and joy we seek – without the extra weight gain or acid reflux.

This is just a friendly reminder that everything you need is all in one name. His name is the Lord. When you praise His name, extol Him and rejoice before Him, you usher happiness and joy into your life. Your song to Christ replaces the sadness in your heart. Your praise of GOD erases the pain in your life. God wants His people, the righteous, you, to be glad and rejoice before Him, not before your spouse, your car, your favorite sports team, your weight loss, TV show or meal. Him! Once you remember everything you need to receive happiness and joy are all in His name, you’ll find you’ll consistently experience happiness and joy every day of your life.
