The Bureau of Services for Blind Persons Training Center (BSBPTC) is a residential facility, which has been in operation since 1970 in Kalamazoo. It provides comprehensive instruction to blind and visually impaired consumers of the Bureau of Services for Blind Persons (BSBP). Every once in a while, I notice their staff being trained around town using various methods to understand how to travel around without the use of their sight. They have to rely on the trainer to guide them based on their wisdom and knowledge, all while trusting their judgment. When the trainee submits completely to the trainer, their training is proven successful and they are able to serve the BSBP more efficiently and effectively.

At times, you may not have a clue in life where you’re going or how to get there. You have to follow your trainer, God, by faith and trust His wisdom and knowledge. If you try to figure out what He’s doing in your life, or even why, chances are, you’ll worry yourself crazy because His paths are beyond tracing out! Try to forget about the what and the why, and concentrate on the Who. Who is in control? Who is working everything out for your good? Who will never leave you or forsake you? When you know the answer to these questions is Jesus, you’ll be able to rely on your trainer and follow by faith.
