“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
The Word of God is powerful enough to stand on its own. It doesn’t need to be twisted to fit a certain agenda, nor watered down for a particular generation. Now, there are some supplements and tools that can be used to help understand God’s Word so that we can apply scripture to our everyday lives and do them, but this does not change, distort, or alter in any way what Christ has said.

For instance, in order to receive salvation, you have to declare that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. The period in that scripture means that’s the end of that sentence. You don’t require a blessed handkerchief. You don’t require miracle spring water. What’s required is your declaration and belief. After you have declared and established your belief, do not allow anyone to tell you that you aren’t saved or question if you’re really saved. Do not allow anyone to tell you what you are or are not. Do not allow anyone to tell you what you’re entitled to or will never achieve. You are of God and you have overcome all of that! Pray. Study. Find a church that preaches and teaches only what God says and does not distort scripture for its own agenda, but, by all means, read the bible for yourself so you’ll know the truth when you hear it and unlock your blessings that accompany your salvation.
