My wife introduced me to Marisa Peer’s YouTube video To Reach Beyond Your Limits By Training Your Mind. (Click HERE to view.) The main idea was to collaborate with your brain by doing these four things:
- Tell your mind what you want and be very descriptive.
- Associate pleasure with what you want to accomplish and pain with staying the same.
- Change the picture in your mind and see yourself reaching your goal.
- Make the unfamiliar familiar.

As a believer, you have to first collaborate with your spirit and your mind will follow. It amazes me when presenters tell you to do exactly what scripture already has. You just have to do it. You have the same spirit of faith as Christ, so you too can speak things into existence. Tell your mind exactly what you wish to accomplish. Time. Date. Color. Size. Whatever! Describe your goal to the last letter. Then whatever it takes to get there, associate massive, enormous pleasure with completing those tasks. Stop telling yourself it’s hard or impossible. Feed your spirit with positivity, not procrastination. Next, change the picture you have of yourself and see yourself where you want to be. Finally, make the unfamiliar familiar by filling your spirit with affirmation. Believe you’re the greatest even before you achieve greatness. Speak your blessing into your spirit and into existence.
