Under the Lord's Care

The blameless spend their days under the LORD’s care, and their inheritance will endure forever. In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.
— PSALM 37:18 – 19 (NIV)

Back in the day, my family always said to save your money for a rainy day. For me, that meant being prepared or covered in case of a life situation that required monetary funds to better position me for a successful outcome. I reluctantly submit that I was a horrible saver, but in the times where I didn’t have enough or have anything, my family was there to support and care for me.

Likewise, God has stored up a plethora of blessings to overtake you during your rainy days. He promised you in times of disaster you will not wither and in days of famine, you will enjoy plenty. You don’t have to lose your mind, stress, or wonder how you’re going to make it during the rough times. You’re under the Lord’s care! Go to your Heavenly Father and make your petition known, but also be prepared to do whatever He reveals to you. Your blessing may not always come in the form of money or the way you may have imagined, but if it’s from the Lord’s care, I’m sure it’ll cover you from your rainy day.

Heavenly Father, You said if I am found blameless in Your sight, I would spend my days under Your care and my inheritance will endure forever. I claim Your promise, right now, that in my time of disaster I will not wither and in the days of famine I will enjoy plenty! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
