“I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am who I am.”
In today’s scripture, Jesus is telling His disciples about how He will be betrayed. He was telling them before it happened so their faith in Him would increase, they would be better prepared when the betrayal actually took place, and also that they would believe Jesus was who He said He was.

The Words of Christ still rang true today in our lives. He has told us what we should expect as His followers. He said the world would reject us because they rejected Him. He said if we lived righteously we would suffer persecution. So, don’t be surprised when things happen that Jesus said would happen. He told us before it happens so our faith in Him would increase. He warned us before it happens so that we would be better prepared once it happened. He told us before it happens so that when it does happen we will believe Jesus is who He says He is. So be prepared to receive your blessing before it happens. Get ready for your financial breakthrough before it happens. Ready yourself for your enemies to become your footstool before it happens. If Jesus said it, you can believe it’s going to happen for you before it happens.
