Transformational Thinking Series: PEACE

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
— ISAIAH 26:3 (NIV)

(My Fulfillment Hour Class (Sunday School) is studying Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer. One of our exercises was to find scriptures that provide examples of what the Christian mindset should be. Over the course of this week, I will share my findings of a few scriptures that I pray will transform our thinking.)

Ever noticed you don’t feel really sick until the doctor tells you you are? You may have made the appointment because you felt something was a little off, but once you get the diagnosis, your mind starts playing tricks on you. Instead of focusing on your road to recovery and things you need to do to get there, you focus on your symptoms and how sick you could be down the road.

Everything starts with the mind. That’s why it’s important you think about what you’re thinking about. Your thoughts become actions. Take control of your thoughts and make the decision to think positive. This choice becomes inherently easy when you have complete trust in God. You can think positive when you have His perfect peace. In health issues, relationship problems, financial setbacks, and trouble, trust God, keep your mind on Christ, and transform your thinking.
