“The LORD will keep you from all harm— He will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
I think it’s important to be reminded that God is watching you, but He isn’t out to get you. God isn’t waiting for you to trip up so He can jump out from behind a burning bush to say, “Ah ha! I got you!” He’s not looking for ways to punish you or show you how imperfect you are. God is watching you, but it’s not for any of those reasons.
God is watching you to keep you from all harm. He’s watching over your life as you come and go. The reason you made it to work or school safely today, is because of God. The reason you weren’t hurt over the Fourth of July holiday was because God kept you. Those weapons formed against you aren’t prospering because of… yep! You got it. God! And it’s a blessing that this isn’t for a limited time only. He’s watching you now and forevermore. Know that every day you wake up you can look forward to experiencing God’s everlasting love knowing that He’s watching you.
He loves you that much!
