The God of All Grace

And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
— 1 PETER 5:10 (NIV)

God gives us grace. It’s nothing we’ve done to deserve it. We can’t work for it. We can’t pay for it. There’s nothing we can do to earn it. He willingly gives us grace because He loves us. It is God that has called us to His eternal glory in Christ and in doing so, has made an investment in our lives. To assure a good return on His investment, God has predestined greatness in our future and it is only through Him we can achieve this greatness.

So when life throws you a curve ball, have faith that God, Himself, will restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast. Whatever you’re facing today is essential for you to receive the blessings that God has for you. It doesn’t matter if your situation was brought on by happenstance or if you did it to yourself. God’s grace is sufficient. Your weeping will endure only for a night. Your health will improve. Your relationships will be restored. Your financial status will go from woes to whoa! If God allows you to suffer, know it will only be for a little while and that Jesus is with you the entire time. God has plans for you and they’re bigger than your current situation. Don’t focus on the suffering. Instead, start preparing to become stronger, firmer, and more steadfast!

I see you in the future…
