“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.”
Scripture says that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Scripture also says our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. What it does not say is that we have to wait to be with Jesus to experience His glory or the blessings of God.
You better go get your life and stop talking that “This too shall pass” and “It’ll be all over in the morning” stuff! Yes, you will experience eternal glory with Jesus in heaven, but God wants you to experience the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living too. He didn’t wake you up today just for you to go through the motions. On the contrary! He’s given you another chance to live life to the fullest, grow in Him, and bless others. This is YOUR time! Pray every precious promise. Seize every moment. Take back what the devil stole from you. God wants to bless you today. Set yourself up to receive it.
