“Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’”
Isn’t great to know God not only knows all of your needs, but can fulfill them too? People search all over for quick remedies in hopes their lives will become complete. Some people seek superficial relationships to feel loved. Some people bury their heads deep in their work to feel important. Others may think the more money they have, the less problems they will have. While relationships, work, and money play a large role in our lives, without Christ we will always hunger and thirst for more.
Jesus doesn’t want to just fill a void in your life. He wants to give you life. When you have Christ you can be content when you have a lot or have a little. Jesus says He is the bread of life and if you come to Him you will never go hungry. If you believe, you will never be thirsty. He promises to provide you with all you need so you don’t have to look for fulfillment in people, jobs, or money. When you find your completeness in Him doors will automatically be open for you. You will find favor amongst God and people. It all starts with you coming to Christ and believing He can do it.
