You ever wonder how much more productive people would be if they minded their own business as much as they tried to mind yours? Just so busy wondering and trying to figure out what you’re doing, that they leave their own lives in shambles. As always, scripture has a solution for busy bodies that applies to us as well… mind your business!
Jesus wants you to experience His peace by making it your ambition to lead a quiet life. He wants you to also gain the respect of outsiders by minding your own business and making sure your business is good. When your business is good, then you’ll have the ability to help others. In doing so, you become the head and not the tail, the lender and not the borrower, and you’ll owe no one anything but love. So before you go asking about somebody else, ask yourself one question… “How’s business?”
