Kindness: Pass It On

What will I do when God confronts me? What will I answer when called to account?
— JOB 31:14 (NIV)

As believers, one of our responsibilities is to be kind to one another. With so much hatred and dispair in the world today, we have to use the power Jesus gave us to turn this place around. When you think about everything you did yesterday, can you say to God you did something to make earth feel a little like heaven?

You have the ability to create a ripple in a large sea of hopelessness by spreading random acts of kindness. It doesn’t have to be a huge campaign or even consume a large part of your day. It could be a warm smile or a friendly compliment. It could be a listening ear or wishing a co-worker a good day. Plan to extend the kindness of Jesus to someone today. You’ll be surprised how far it goes and also how good it will make you feel.

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me the ability to change the world. I will be kind to others just as You were. Use me to bless others. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
