I’m a self-proclaimed movie buff. (I like movies a lot.) I enjoy them so much that if I really liked a movie, I’ll watch the behind the scenes featurette. You get to see the stunt doubles, the set creators, the directors, and everything else that happens you don’t get to see during the movie. It’s like the producers of the movie keeps everything you don’t have to see out of your sight, so you can enjoy the movie.
Just like a good movie, Jesus is directing the life God produced for you while the Holy Spirit does some amazing things behind the scenes. And in your life, there are some bad guys out to get you, every day, but God protects you from them. They search all over for you, but they can’t see you because Christ has hidden you from their sight. Sickness can’t find your address. Bill collectors can’t locate your mailbox. Brokeness can’t find your heart. Doubt can’t find your faith. And it’s not because they aren’t searching for you. It’s because you have someone working behind the scenes for you so you can enjoy the show.
