Can't Know It All

The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.
— DEUTERONOMY 29:29 (NIV)

It’s not possible for us to possess the answers to every question. There are even some questions that aren’t answered through prayer. Why does Christ allow mass murders? Why doesn’t God intervene and prevent the agendas of terrorist from being successful? Why is molestation, abuse, and rape rates growing so rapid? Why doesn’t God do something about social injustices, racism, and political figures that abuse their power and oppress the His people?

The truth is, I don’t know the answer to any of the above questions. I’m convinced that I can’t know it all, but I do know God’s Word and that He is still in control. Some questions will go unanswered. The unknown can be a bit scary, but God did not give you the spirit of fear. Keep your faith in God and what He has revealed to you through His Word and Holy Spirit. God’s Word gives love, life, and purpose. They bring peace, prosperity, and joy. And if the questions or things you don’t understand cause pain in your life, find restoration in what Christ has revealed to you and become the answer.
