The above are lyrics from one of my favorite songs, but they are much more than lyrics. To me, it’s asking God to speak life directly into my heart and His spirit into my body. Things of this world are not able to give or improve our lives. Only God’s Spirit, through His Word, can give us the life He intended. Without His Spirit, we will continue to fill our lives with things that only live us unfulfilled. Seek God in everything and be fulfilled.
