Stick With Love

‘A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.’
— JOHN 13:34 - 35 (NIV)

“I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.”

-          Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Christ wants us to love one another as He has loved us. When we love our enemies and love unconditionally, we are telling the world we identify with Christ. Jesus will be seen in the way we treat others, serve others, and forgive one another. When you choose to stick with love as Dr. King did, God will reveal His strength in you to overcome hatred. You will be able to see others as He does. You won’t judge people for what they’ve done, but what they are capable of doing through Christ.

As we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. today, choose to stick with love and make a conscious effort to show others the love of Christ.
