There have been many songs written about what love is. There has been several books that tell us how to love. Television and movies are constantly attempting to depict what love looks like. I have to admit, the message given can be convincing, and if you’re not too careful, you’ll start believing it.
If you ever want to know what real love is, look to God. God’s love is forgiving and unconditional. He loves you for better or worse. His love is sacrificial and giving. It’s a love that you can rely on being there no matter what your circumstances or situations are. He wants you to show this same love to everyone. Not just people who love you back or are kind to you, but Jesus wants you to live in love. This means whatever state of mind you wake up in or whether you’re having a great day or not, you will show everyone the same love God shows you every day. Allow the God in you to love through you.
