Welcome to the start of a new week. Fresh starts are always a blessing and very much needed. If last week went great for you, there’s always an opportunity for this week to be even better. If last week was challenging and nothing seemed to go your way, there’s still good news! God has given you another chance to get it right.
You don’t have to live in last week. Your Heavenly Father wants to make everything new for you. The pain you experienced last week. Gone. Your conflicts and struggles. Gone. What they said about you. Gone. What didn’t go as planned. Gone. Today you have a fresh start. Don’t waste it thinking about what went wrong or what could happen. Jon Stewart once said, “You just have to keep trying to do good work, and hope that it leads to more good work. I want to look back on my career and be proud of the work, and be proud that I tried everything." When you try to do good work, God will reveal new opportunities to you. But if you choose to stay in last week, you’re destined to repeat it.
