Fifteen years ago our nation experienced a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks known as 9/11. The attacks killed 2,996 people, injured over 6,000 others, and caused at least $10 billion in property and infrastructure damage and $3 trillion in total costs.
When you remember this sorrowful time and mourn for the innocent lives lost, it may become difficult to understand why God allows such things to occur. Scripture says the secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law. There will be some things you will never understand, but God promises when you’re anxious for nothing and go to Him in prayer, with thanksgiving, He will give you His peace and guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. It is only with this mindset of peace, solutions to our world’s problems will become known to you. When you search for answers you may not always find what you’re looking for, but when you make your request known to God you’ll find peace.
