“Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.”
God’s way of doing things will lead you to abundant living. There is a way that seems right to us humans, but its end is the way of death. Although you may not see it, doing the right thing will always have its reward. God intends for you to enjoy life in His safety. You don’t have to regard the wrong others may do to you or seek retaliation. You are protected by God. Trust in Him and treat each other with love and respect. Forgive the person who wronged you so that you gain a friend and not an enemy. Life is too short and it is senseless to hold grudges concerning things you probably won’t even remember next week. Think about all the other wonderful thoughts you could be filling your heart with instead trying to remember who you’re mad at and can’t speak to. That would be such a poor use of great space that could be used to do good.
