“‘But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.’ So he said to the paralyzed man, ‘Get up, take your mat and go home.’”
Whatever you’ve done in your past, it’s not too big for Jesus. Neither are your age, physical abilities, who’s for you or against you, amount of money, or the thoughts you have of yourself. Jesus has the power to forgive you for your sin and doesn’t consider your circumstances when it comes to blessing you. Don’t hold on to the sin you have been forgiven. Instead, get up and get on with life!
Jesus doesn’t want you to become paralyzed by your sin. He wants you to get back up, dust yourself off, and get on with living life. He still has the same purpose for you and still needs you to fulfill it. You can’t do that while you continue to hold on to the sin He’s already forgiven you for. Take your cares to the feet of your Holy Father and leave them there. Live life.
