Satan knows you have something precious and valuable to God. He’s waiting to trick you and catch you off guard. Understand that the devil is already defeated, but he’s always waiting for another opportunity to test you.
When he is unsuccessful in tempting you one way, he will try another. Satan is the father of lies and his objective is to kill, steal, and destroy anything of God, but remember that Jesus came for you to have life and life more abundantly. It doesn’t matter how many times the devil tries to enter and re-enter your life. You have a powerful Savior waiting to deliver you from his grasp. Allow the Holy Spirit in you to give you direction and power to resist the devil’s temptation. Prepare your heart and mind with God’s word so that when the devil tries to come back, it won’t even matter!
