“All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.”
God has plans to bless you today through your obedience to Him. Don’t think of being obedient to God as mindlessly following commandments of do’s and don’ts, but embrace it as God’s way of lovingly protecting you… from yourself!
When you accept God’s way of living, His divine direction will guide you into His blessings. Scripture says there is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. When you allow yourself to think you can outsmart God or do things yourself, you murder the blessing God prepared for you. When you obey the Lord, all of His blessings will come on you and accompany you in all you do. You’ll be blessed in the city and blessed in the field. You’ll be blessed when you come and when you go!
