“For everyone looks out for their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.”
As the body of Christ Jesus intended for us to serve one another. When we function together as one unit each person can supply need where the other may lack. If we are more concerned with our own interests or need we won’t be able to support or look out for the interests of others.
If you believe God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus your wants and needs nearly cease to exist enabling you to meet the needs of others. When you seek God’s kingdom first and all His righteousness you exhibit a spirit of faith to God it allows Him to add all the things to you that you may need. When you are of Christ, your mindset changes from self-gratification to looking out for the interest of others. Christ provided the perfect example when He died for you and I on the cross. You too can be the example by becoming servants of all.
